That’s because stainless steel is very resistant to rust: it consists of the steel alloy of iron and carbon to which a bit of chromium is added. The chromium will form a paper thin, oxygen proof layer on the surface of the steel and prevent it from rusting. All versions are provided with a brass bottom connection and they all have three little screw holes for easy and secured assembly of the pressure gauge onto a panel.

Pressure gauges of this type are also available in three different versions and two different case diameters: 63 mm and 100 mm. The difference between these models and the 7212 models is that these stainless steel glycerin pressure gauges have a brass back connection. They can be assembled onto a panel using three little screw holes in the front flange of the instrument.
