A pressure gauge for special conditions

Glycerin properties

The main advantage of a glycerin-filled pressure gauge is its ability to absorb vibrations, pressure surges, and pressure fluctuations to a large extent. This protects the internal mechanism and prevents premature wear. Glycerin also ensures that pressure values can be read accurately at all times by stabilizing the indicating needle. You can often recognize the presence of glycerin by a small air bubble at the top of the dial.

Stainless steel

In damp or humid environments where corrosion poses a risk, it is best to choose a pressure gauge made entirely of stainless steel. The various internal components will not rust. Stainless steel is an alloy of steel containing at least 10.5% chromium, which forms a thin, oxygen-proof protective layer on the surface that prevents corrosion.
