What are the bulb and stem of a capillary thermometer?

A capillary thermometer consists of two main components: the bulb (sensor) and the stem (tube or shaft):

• Bulb (sensor): This is the rounded part of the thermometer that contains the measuring liquid. The bulb reacts to environmental temperature changes, causing the liquid to expand or contract.
