Both pressure gauges are available in two sizes: a 63 mm and a 100 mm diameter. Other specifics of both models are quite similar:

  • A stainless steel case;
  • A brass connection to the bottom (7811) or to the back (7814);
  • A brass alloy Bourdon tube;
  • A brass mechanism;
  • A safety glass window;
  • Provided with a zero adjustment.

Accuracy class

All our low pressure gauges in millibar with stainless steel case have an accuracy class of 1.6. That means that the maximum measuring deviation will be 1.6% of the maximum pressure gauge reach. When you buy a manometer with a maximum reach of 200 millibars, a class 1.6 means that the maximum deviation will be 3.2 millibar.

Pressure reach

For measuring negative pressure (pressure below 0 bars), our low pressure gauges in millibar are perfect, but they are also very useful for measuring low pressure above 0 bars. When you choose your pressure gauge, make sure that the maximum pressure reach on the display exceeds at least one third of the average pressure of the measured medium. That way there will always be room for sudden deviations in pressure, and your pressure gauge will still be able to indicate the right pressure.

Stainless steel case

When you want to measure low pressure or negative pressure in an environment with high humidity, we recommend our pressure gauge with stainless steel case to prevent the casing from rusting. Stainless steel consists of a steel alloy to which a thin layer of oxygen proof chromium is added to avoid corrosion.
